If you’re a fan of colorful streets, coastal charm, and all things Charleston, you’re going to love Isabella’s senior portraits. Her session was the perfect blend of elegance, personality, and a little bit of adventure — and I couldn’t have asked for a better day to capture such a special milestone.
I met Isabella and her parents, who were visiting from Georgia, in the Mills House Hotel lobby, and from the very beginning, they brought so much warmth and energy to the shoot. It’s always such a joy when family comes along to cheer and keep the mood light. Between her two stunning dresses and a classic skirt look, Isabella brought the perfect mix of elegance and charm to every location we visited — and she wore each one with complete confidence.
We began the morning in Downtown Charleston, wandering cobblestone streets and stopping in front of pastel buildings and tucked-away sidewalks. Just as we wrapped up downtown, the skies darkened and rain began pouring down — and to make things even more interesting, we were under a tropical storm warning! But Charleston weather loves a twist — by the time we reached Folly Beach, the rain had cleared and the sun peeked through, giving us the dreamiest light for sandy, barefoot portraits. We finished the session at Hampton Park, surrounded by vibrant summer blooms and swaying Spanish moss — extra special since it was my very first senior session there.
Isabella, thank you for letting me be part of your senior year story. Your energy, style, and joy made this session one I’ll always remember.
